Across the lanes of Dalit bastis, tribal villages, and urban slums, one painful truth repeats every June āĀ thousands of children donāt return to school.
Not because they lack dreams.
But because they lackĀ bags, books, shoes, uniforms ā even pens.
A child with torn slippers and no notebooks is forced to choose between education and humiliation.
And the government? Silent. Absent. Unconcerned.
ButĀ R. R. Pandayan SahebĀ refuses to stay silent.
He doesnāt just raise slogans āĀ he delivers school bags filled with hope.
š A Bag Full of Dignity
Under theĀ āSaheb Ki Kitab Yojnaā,Ā R. R. Pandayan SahebĀ has launched a state-wide drive to make sureĀ no child is left out of school because of poverty.
āIf a child cannot afford a notebook, itās not his fault. Itās the failure of the system. And until the system fixes itself ā I will fix the problem myself.ā
āĀ R. R. Pandayan Saheb

ā What Is āSaheb Ki Kitab Yojnaā?
Itās not a government scheme.
Itās not an NGO project.
Itās aĀ peopleās movement, born fromĀ compassionĀ and built onĀ action.
Every year, before school reopens,Ā Sahebās team visits slums, villages, and bastis, identifying families who can't afford basic school items.
Through this campaign, they distribute:
- š School bags
- āļø Full stationery kits (pens, pencils, compass, rulers)
- š Notebooks and textbooks
- š§„ School uniforms and water bottles
- š Shoes and socks
In many areas,Ā over 1,000 kitsĀ have been distributed in a single event.
And each child walks home withĀ pride in their eyes, andĀ power in their hands.
š Because the Ground Reality Is Brutal
While ministers announce āDigital Indiaā and post selfies with tablets,Ā lakhs of poor childrenĀ canāt even getĀ one new notebook.
They borrow broken pencils.
They wear oversized, torn uniforms.
They sit on the floor and write on paper scraps.
Many drop out by Class 5 ā not due to failure, but due toĀ shame.

āWhen a child drops out of school due to poverty, itās not just a tragedy ā itās a crime committed by the nation.ā
āĀ R. R. Pandayan Saheb
š ļø Sahebās Ground Action
Saheb personally visits local bastis, oftenĀ sitting with children and parents, asking what they need.
He tells his team: āDonāt just click photos ā understand their pain.ā
- Local youth volunteers help identify families without resources
- Local tailors stitch uniforms for schoolgirls
- Teachers are involved to guide which materials are most needed
- Some children even receiveĀ bicyclesĀ to help them reach faraway schools
And most importantly,Ā no political bannerĀ ā justĀ books, love, and leadership.
š„ Itās More Than Just Books ā Itās Resistance
āSaheb Ki Kitab YojnaāĀ is not just about giving school supplies.
Itās aĀ bold political statementĀ ā a direct answer to the system that deniesĀ Bahujan childrenĀ equal access to education.
āIf the child of a builder is building buildings, and the child of a minister is becoming a CEO ā thatās not merit, thatās inequality.
I will break that wall ā one schoolbag at a time.ā
āĀ R. R. Pandayan Saheb
