In the narrow lanes of slums and remote villages, there are two realities that every poor family knows too well — illness comes without warning, and treatment never comes without a price.

A fever can cost a week's income. A surgery can push an entire family into debt.

Hospitals are far. Doctors don’t come. Medicine is a dream.

And in that silence of suffering — a new hope has emerged.

That hope is R. R. Pandayan Saheb.

🩺 A Doctor May Not Come, But Saheb Will

While many leaders talk about healthcare in speeches, R. R. Pandayan Saheb takes action where it matters most — on the ground, in the bastis, among the people who are forgotten by the system.

“If a poor child cannot afford medicine, it’s not his fault — it’s the government’s failure. And if the government fails, I will not.”

— R. R. Pandayan Saheb

From free checkups to full diagnosis, from medicine kits to emergency referrals, Saheb Ka Clinic is not just an event — it’s a lifeline.

💊 What Happens at “Saheb Ka Clinic”?

In different corners of Maharashtra, R. R. Pandayan Saheb organizes health camps that bring real doctors, real medicines, and real relief to people who’ve been ignored for years.

Each camp provides:

  • âś… Free general and specialist checkups
  • âś… Free medicines for chronic patients (BP, diabetes, asthma, etc.)
  • âś… Free sanitary pads and awareness sessions for women
  • âś… Doctor consultation for children, pregnant women, and senior citizens
  • âś… Emergency referrals to public hospitals with follow-up help

And above all — respect, which poor patients are rarely given in crowded hospitals.

“They treat us like beggars in the hospital. But Saheb treats us like human beings.”

— A woman from Aurangabad Basti

🧑‍⚕️ Why Saheb Started These Camps

Saheb visited hundreds of homes where:

  • Children had untreated infections for months
  • Old women had no medicine for blood pressure or joint pain
  • Labourers were working with undiagnosed fractures and illnesses

The government promised free health, but in reality, people die waiting in line or are told, “Medicine khatam ho gayi.”

That’s when R. R. Pandayan Saheb said:

“If your hospitals won’t come to our people, I will take doctors to every basti myself.”

🔥 Real Action, Not Just Politics

Saheb’s health camps are not symbolic. They’re run with:

  • Volunteer doctors and NGO partnerships
  • Local youth trained as medical assistants
  • Transparent donation for medicine kits
  • Permanent tracking of serious patients to ensure recovery

In some districts, over 800 people were treated in a single day, and more than 200 women received help for long-ignored health issues.

🩹 A Movement, Not Just a Camp

Saheb Ka Clinic is now growing into a people’s health movement:

  • 🔸 Plans to start “Mobile Health Vans” in rural areas
  • 🔸 Pressure on local MLAs and corporators to arrange public doctors
  • 🔸 Data collection to identify medical needs in each ward or village
  • 🔸 “Health Rights Yatra” to raise awareness about free government schemes

“When the poor fall sick, they don’t need sympathy. They need a tablet, a doctor, and a leader who stands beside them. That’s what I’m here for.”

— R. R. Pandayan Saheb
